Key Role in Engineering Management
The role of Maintenance Manager is crucial to the smooth operation of a hotel, involving oversight of a diverse team of engineers and contractors.
Main Responsibilities:
- To lead a highly motivated engineering team by assigning daily tasks and managing multiple external contractors.
- To develop and implement work request systems across all hotel areas.
- To record and analyse daily plant and utility consumption readings, with regular reporting on findings.
- To inspect and carry out preventative maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fire systems.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar leadership position.
- A trade qualification in mechanical or building services, or a willingness to attain one.
- Familiarity with computerised maintenance systems, Building Management Systems, and fire safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively.
