About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Rail Signalling Electrical Installers to join our team based out of our Seven Hills Depot in Sydney. As a Rail Signalling Electrical Installer, you will be responsible for implementing varying levels of Signalling works across our Sydney sites, including the Digital Systems project, Sydney Trains MSA projects, TAP Station Upgrade project, and More Trains More Services MTMS Stage 3 project.

You will work closely with our high-performance rail teams to ensure that all requirements of Signalling Safeworking rules are implemented in the field. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, and a willingness to adapt to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Signalling works across our Sydney sites
  • Work closely with high-performance rail teams to ensure Signalling Safeworking rules are implemented
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols
  • Compile Signalling packages for specific project works
  • Install and terminate cables, wiring of Signalling Racks and Trackside Equipment, and installation of Trackside Equipment
  • Assist with testing of Signalling Infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Construction industry white card
  • Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW) with Licenced Sydney Trains Signal Electrical Installer (SEI)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Certificate of Competency on both Sydney Trains and ARTC networks as a signal electrical Installer
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Rail CAT Specific medical & drug and alcohol screening
