About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Front Desk Support Professional in our Cairns office. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff.

Your duties will include:

  • Greeting clients and staff
  • Answering and transferring telephone calls
  • Taking detailed messages
  • Electronically distributing faxes
  • Distributing incoming and preparing outgoing mail
  • Setting up and preparing meeting rooms for the day
  • Organising, cleaning and maintaining the staff kitchen
  • Assisting with catering, stationery and IT requirements
  • Assisting with opening files, conducting searches and archiving files
  • General administrative duties

About you

You will enjoy working with people and providing support and confidentiality to our office and clients. You will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities. A polished telephone manner and enthusiasm for working independently or as part of our team are essential.

Previous reception experience in a legal environment or equivalent will be highly regarded.
