At Cape York Gulf Remote Area Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Child Care Advisory Association Inc, we are committed to delivering culturally relevant and professional programs to our clients with integrity.

We are seeking a part-time Family Led Convenor to join our team in Cairns or within a designated Cape York Qld community. As a valued member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with ATSI children / youth and their families' opportunities to yarn (voice) and make decisions (choices) in regard to worries and concerns on Child Protection matters.

This is an Identified position; applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. You will be responsible for working with families to provide options to support, protect and care for their children. This includes maintaining accurate client records management, client engagement, community engagement / events, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.

A valid Working With Children Check (Blue Card) and a current Drivers Licence are essential requirements for this role.

Salary: $75,000 per annum. Location: Cairns or designated Cape York Qld community. The estimated salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
