We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Outreach Worker to join our team.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in your community. As a Community Outreach Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to young people, helping them feel strong and connected.
- You will work closely with young people to identify their needs and develop strategies to improve their mental health and wellbeing.
- Provide culturally safe guidance to help young people access local services and support.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and contribute to the growth and development of young people.
Requirements:- You must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Hold a qualification in Mental Health, Primary Health, Community Services or a related field.
- Have strong problem-solving skills, integrity, and initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mentorship from experienced First Nations staff.
