Empower Students to Achieve Their Potential

As a Program Lead, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students to achieve their full potential. Your mission is to work closely with students enrolled in the Academy programs to improve school attendance and ultimately school performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering program initiatives, including planning, coordination, and implementation. You will maintain meaningful relationships with students, community members, and schools, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver program initiatives, including life skills, personal development, and long-term resilience programs.
  • Mentor and support students aged 12-18, facilitating workshops, providing in-class tutoring, and offering outside-class assistance.
  • Provide activities that include cooking, creative arts, leadership, CV creation, goal setting, and job-ready skills.
  • Organize physical education activities that include Traditional Indigenous Games and arrange after-school and weekend activities and excursions.
  • Facilitate community activities, promoting opportunities for cultural exchange between the community, the Academy, and schools.
  • Create Personalized Learning Pathway Plans for Academy students and work collaboratively with teams within schools.

This role requires flexibility, including occasional weekends and overnight stays to run residential programs and camps.
