The Role of a Program Lead is to foster growth and development among students in the NASCA Academies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver programs that improve student outcomes, including program planning, coordination and implementation.
  • Maintain meaningful relationships with students, community members and school stakeholders.
  • Support First Nation students through workshops, in-class tutoring and out-of-school assistance.
  • Develop life skills and school engagement activities, such as cooking, creative arts, leadership and employability skills.
  • Organise physical education activities, including Traditional Indigenous Games.
  • Coordinate extracurricular activities and excursions.
  • Foster opportunities for cultural exchange between community, NASCA and school.
  • Create personalised learning plans for NASCA students.
Working Arrangements
  • Work collaboratively within schools.
  • Occasional weekend and overnight work for residential programs and camps.
