Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the Programme Management Office (PMO) within the Digital Consumer Finance Team, working on the Bank's mobile application.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Operations and Project Management, with experience in leading PMO teams on multi-year high-budget programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the PMO team and be responsible for project framework
  • Programme planning, governance, milestone tracking, risks & issues management, interdependency assessments
  • Manage all elements of the commercial process, including Vendor Management and Financial Management
  • Have an understanding of strong development practices and how it ties into the overall hiring strategy
  • Promote a positive culture of Best Practice and Continuous Improvement across the Agile Release Train
  • No direct reports, but the ability to lead and support 4 Project Coordinators

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience leading PMO teams on multi-year high-budget programmes
  • Operations background highly desirable
  • Strong Vendor / Stakeholder Management skills
  • Excellent Financial Management skills
  • A solid understanding of JIRA
  • Banking or Financial Services experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong people leadership skills
