**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to oversee our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, planning menus, cooking meals, conducting stock takes, ordering stock, monitoring food costs, and ensuring high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

  • Manage the kitchen team including chefs, kitchen hands, and catering assistants.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious home-style and gourmet meals for students, functions, conferences, and school/sporting camps.
  • Conduct regular stock takes, order stock, and monitor food costs to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices at all times.

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
