Job Description

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.

We are building a new team to deliver high-quality employment support for Australians with disability, injury or illness.

As an Activity Manager, you will conduct risk assessments, support participants to overcome barriers, connect them with activities, collaborate with community organisations and manage competing priorities.

You must hold a Driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required. You will join a team where respect, support and recognition are valued.

We offer a collaborative environment, space to grow and opportunities to work on meaningful projects.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct health and safety risk assessments
  • Support participants to overcome barriers and connect with activities
  • Collaborate with community organisations to coordinate and develop activities
  • Source and match participants with suitable activities
  • Manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
