The position involves building strong relationships with local employers and supporting them in adapting their workplaces to accommodate diverse needs.

About the Role

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Sourcing and developing new employer relationships, providing tailored recruitment solutions to meet their staffing needs.
  • Working closely with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to identify and develop opportunities in industries relevant to caseloads.
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the local labour market, emerging industries, and trends to ensure ongoing employment opportunities.
  • Helping employers adapt processes and roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs, maximising productivity and benefits.
  • Engaging job-ready candidates and matching them with employers through referrals, job carving, and reverse marketing.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services, or other related fields are desirable.
  • Previous experience in employment services, including barrier management, reverse marketing, candidate placement, and post-placement support is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, or sales is also valued.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A working knowledge of local employers and their recruitment demands is crucial.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is vital.
  • A performance-focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPIs are essential.
  • A valid Driver's license is required for travel throughout the region.
