Are you passionate about inclusion, community, and sustainable impact? We're looking for a values-driven Business Development Coordinator to help us grow and sustain a thriving social enterprise that provides meaningful work and training opportunities for people with disability and others across Northern Tasmania.

About Us

We are a social enterprise with a clear purpose:

People with disability and other Tasmanians have equal access to work and training.

Our mission is to sustain and grow a supportive and inclusive enterprise that builds skills, delivers value to customers, and creates friendships and community.

We're a place where purpose meets professionalism — and we're growing. That's where you come in.

About the Role

As Business Development Coordinator, you'll play a central role in driving our growth and ensuring long-term sustainability through strategic partnerships, funding opportunities, and market engagement. Your work will directly support more employment and training pathways for people living with disability and barriers to employment, and contribute to broader community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

·Identify and develop new funding, partnership, and business opportunities

·Research and apply for grants and tender opportunities aligned with our mission

·Build and maintain strong relationships with business, schools, community partners, funders, and stakeholders

·Represent the organisation at events and networking forums

·Contribute to marketing, storytelling, and community engagement strategies

·Track, evaluate, and report on business development activities and outcomes

What We're Looking For

·Experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, or a related field

·Strong communication skills, particularly in building trust and writing proposals

·Highly organised, self-directed, and outcomes-focused

·Genuine alignment with our values of inclusion, collaboration, and community impact

·Comfortable working across teams and engaging with diverse stakeholders

Desirable Skills

·Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, or social enterprise sectors

·Knowledge of the Tasmanian community and funding landscape

·Grant writing or tender preparation experience

·Existing networks that support community or disability inclusion initiatives, including customised employment

Why Join Us?

·Be part of a purpose-driven, inclusive team

·Help grow a truly local, values-led organisation

·Make a lasting impact on employment outcomes in Tasmania

·Enjoy flexibility, support, and opportunities to develop your role
