This rewarding role involves delivering exceptional support services to clients with varying needs, aligned with individualized service plans and organizational objectives.

This is a collaborative position where you will work closely with clients in their communities and homes, provide coaching and mentorship to staff, and ensure seamless communication and coordination between services, staff, and stakeholders providing support to a client.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring the provision and growth of high-quality services and supports to clients in implementing, managing, and maintaining their individual client NDIS plans.
  • Managing rosters to ensure accuracy and facilitate timely claims for payment under the NDIS system.
  • Supervising, coaching, and mentoring direct care staff.
  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination between services, staff, and stakeholders providing support to a client.
  • Assisting clients in managing their finances in accordance with our policies and procedures and where applicable Public Trustee guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role within the disability sector.
  • Ability to develop and build a service.

  • A proactive, energetic approach to a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience and skill in team supervision; leading people to achieve.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solution-focused thinking.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
  • Well-developed administrative and financial management skills.
  • A current 'C' class driver's license.
  • Current First Aid and CPR.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • NDIS worker clearance and Blue card working with children clearance.
  • COVID-19 fully vaccinated.
