Valuation Oversight Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to join our Investment Operations team based in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing the day-to-day activities involved in investment compliance functions.
This role requires a deep understanding of investment structures, specifically unlisted assets and valuation methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and practices in a regulated environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage investment compliance functions
- Provide oversight to the valuation of unlisted assets
- Liaise with internal and external teams to gather required information
- Assist in building out the team and function through increasing efficiencies and technology adoption
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A thorough understanding of investment structures and valuation methodologies
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and practices
- A relevant qualification in finance, mathematics, business, commerce or economics
- Significant experience in investment operations or investment management roles
