Asset Valuation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Asset Valuation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets and products, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

The successful candidate will assist in the daily valuation of securities across all listed and OTC securities for a wide range of security types. They will also perform valuation validation controls and checks on all security prices.

In addition, they will be responsible for performing static creation, maintenance and enrichment process for data domains managed by the teams. This includes security master, portfolio account data, etc.

The candidate will also assist in the maintenance and review of benchmark levels used for portfolio performance reporting purposes.

They will also be managing daily cash reconciliations in Aladdin, including reconciling cash transactions, balances, publishing cash by deadlines and assigning breaks to relevant responsible teams for investigation.

The role requires 2+ years experience in a financial services firm in a middle office role, preferably in an operations, reconciliations, settlements, trade support or pricing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily valuation of securities
  • Assisting with valuation validation controls
  • Maintaining and reviewing benchmark levels
  • Managing daily cash reconciliations
