Finance Manager (Valuations) Job Opportunity
\We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in delivering high-impact valuation analysis and financial reporting across retail and external client portfolios. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in reviewing and comparing external valuations against financial budgets and forecasts, analysing and explaining variances between financial datasets, and conducting internal valuation checks using forecast data and investment scenarios.
\- Strong finance background with experience in budgeting and forecasting for retail assets is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting are required.
- Exposure to institutional-grade retail valuations and retail remix/project scenario analysis is desirable.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel proficiency and experience in valuation modelling tools are necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Review and compare external valuations against financial budgets and forecasts across retail and external client portfolios.
- Analyse and explain variances between financial datasets, including prior periods and valuation inputs.
- Conduct internal valuation checks using forecast data and investment scenarios.
- Presentation of valuation analysis and insights to senior leaders, fund managers, and valuation committees.
- Support the preparation of fund reports, valuation committee papers, and board audit documentation.
Requirements:
