We're seeking a skilled Valuation Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Consultant or Manager, you will work with clients in the Financial Services industry to provide valuation services for various purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting and disputes.
  • Manage and prepare valuation reports and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  • Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  • Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sector.
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Possessing a CFA credential or actively pursuing one.
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes.
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and or tax planning purposes is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
