Job Description

Protecting vulnerable individuals from violence is a crucial aspect of our mission. We are seeking a professional to cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders.

This role is based in Sydney, Australia, and reports directly to the Lead Philanthropy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to grow donor portfolios, improve retention rates, and increase financial contributions.

  • Managing a portfolio of 600-700 mid-level donors
  • Collaborating with the Business Intelligence Team to categorize donor portfolios based on activity and capacity
  • Developing and implementing donor engagement strategies, including communication plans and relationship-based moves management
  • Lapsed donor strategies to re-engage mid-level donors
  • Ensuring increased donor retention, value retention, giving, and movement of relationship-qualified donors to major donor portfolios
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising or sales, with a proven track record of effectiveness as a collaborator on cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing, tracking, and reporting on the financial efforts of a donor portfolio
  • Strong donor cultivation or customer service experience, and high-level interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and mail merge experience
