Geophysical Field Electronic Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geophysical Field Electronic Technician to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that requires the candidate to be based at our office and work in the field.

About the Role

The successful candidate will participate in all facets of the airborne geophysical survey, including safety, survey operations, equipment maintenance, data quality, staffing, operator training, and logistics.

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and job safety planning.
  • Ensure crew members comply with health, safety, and environment policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and repair geophysical equipment, and report on its status daily.
  • Lead weekly crew meetings.
  • Perform quality control on first-line data collected during flights.
  • Manage in-field data and ensure timely uploads.
  • Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization.
  • Evaluate daily field activities against project specifications.
