We are seeking a seasoned geophysical survey professional to lead our field operations and drive high-quality surveys across Australia.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily field operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and team cohesion.
- You will plan and execute surveys by translating project designs into practical workflows.
- Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality data through rigorous first-pass QA/QC, meeting and exceeding industry standards.
- You will promote a safety-first culture, leading toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
- Excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with the field crew and Project Manager, keeping projects on schedule and clients informed.
- Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geosciences, with a minimum of 5 years' field experience.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing crews in remote environments.
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality data delivery.
- Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to changing field conditions.
- Exceptional communication skills and client-focused professionalism.
