Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Risk Advisor to join our team. As a Security Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end consulting services across security governance, risk, and compliance.

You will work directly with clients, delivering assignments aligned to industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and the Australian ISM.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct information security and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Deliver security awareness programs and advisory services to help clients improve their security posture.
  • Support pre-sales activities with technical input and client engagement to drive sales growth.
  • Develop security governance strategies, frameworks, and policies to align with business objectives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver projects on time and within scope to meet client expectations.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' IT/cyber experience, including 1-2 years in a GRC-focused role to develop relevant skills and expertise.
  • Knowledge of standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, CPS 234, Essential Eight) to provide informed guidance and support.
  • Experience conducting audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimize security practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Relevant certification(s) (ISO 27001, CISSP Associate, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) highly regarded to demonstrate expertise and commitment.
