Job Overview
This role involves providing a wide range of advisory services covering security strategy, governance, risk, audit and compliance topics. As a versatile Senior Security Consultant, you will possess a broad technical background to confidently work within high-complexity environments.

Your day-to-day tasks will vary considerably, including leading and delivering client projects, working with clients and prospective clients, identifying their security needs, mentoring and coaching junior staff, and more.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Undertaking security threat and risk assessments
  2. Developing security strategies and roadmaps
  3. Developing and reviewing solution/design artefacts
  4. Developing and refining policies, standards, principles and strategies, and assessing their effectiveness
  5. Assisting in the evaluation of emerging technologies, service providers, tools, platforms and applications suited to an organization's specific needs
  6. Delivering security architecture advice (particularly surrounding cloud services)

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess top-notch written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, particularly when it comes to technology and business risk, and an ability to deliver multiple consulting projects at a high quality, often under pressure, while developing strong relationships with customers. The successful candidate will also have a self-starting team mentality, be able to take ownership and lead GRC engagements with minimal guidance, and provide coordination for others.

Must-have qualifications include demonstrable evidence of strong stakeholder engagement skills, delivering high-quality policies and standards to deadline and budget, conducting risk assessments and proposing mitigating controls, playing a significant role in assisting organizations through ISO 27001 certification and/or SOC 2 attestation, and holding an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementor certification or higher.
