About the Job:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide credit risk strategy for accounts in arrears, focusing on optimising collections performance and loss recovery.
  • Drive innovation through strategic projects, including the adoption of new technology, to modernise collections capabilities.
  • Lead key initiatives to enhance debt sale strategies, maximise recoveries, and minimise risk.
  • Manage partnerships with third-party vendors and outsourced service providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a numeric discipline or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong focus on collections and recoveries.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful collections strategies in a financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or outsourced service providers.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements related to collections and credit risk.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
