Key Strategic Role: Enterprise Collections Risk Leader

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our enterprise-wide credit risk strategy for accounts in arrears. This role requires developing and executing strategic initiatives to optimise collections performance and loss recovery across multiple portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the enterprise collections risk strategy across all consumer credit products in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Design and implement segmentation strategies for delinquent accounts to improve collections effectiveness and customer outcomes.
  • Lead key strategic initiatives to modernise collections capabilities using advanced technologies.
  • Manage partnerships with external debt collection agencies and third-party recovery providers.
  • Establish performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance standards for external partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a numeric discipline or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management, with a focus on collections and recoveries.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful collections strategies in a financial services environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors or outsourced service providers.
