Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team in the Paediatric Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition departments at Gosford Hospital. As a Level 3 Paediatric Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nutrition care to children and adolescents across the district.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide expert nutrition advice, support inpatients in the Children's Ward and Special Care Nursery, and participate in clinical improvement initiatives and research in paediatric nutrition.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert nutrition care to children and adolescents
  • Contribute to Paediatric Diabetes Clinics, including Insulin Pump services
  • Support inpatients in the Children's Ward and Special Care Nursery
  • Work with other Dietitians to provide collaborative, consistent care
  • Guide and support junior staff through supervision and mentorship
  • Lead or participate in clinical improvement initiatives and research in paediatric nutrition
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics with full Dietitians Australia membership eligibility
  • Strong post-grad experience, including paediatrics
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • Innovative leadership and quality improvement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
