Paediatric Nutrition Specialist

Central Coast Local Health District seeks a Level 3 Paediatric Dietitian to deliver high-quality nutrition care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will be part of dynamic multidisciplinary teams dedicated to delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert nutrition care to children and adolescents, contributing to Paediatric Diabetes Clinics and Insulin Pump services.
- Support inpatients in the Children's Ward and Special Care Nursery, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Lead or participate in clinical improvement initiatives and research in paediatric nutrition, guiding and supporting junior staff members.
This senior clinical position is primarily based at Gosford Hospital, with possibilities for work at other sites across the Central Coast. The role is part-time, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
About You- You are a qualified Dietitian with full membership eligibility and strong post-grad experience, including paediatrics.
- You possess excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and prioritisation skills.
- You have innovative leadership qualities, including experience in quality improvement, education, and research.
- You are a skilled mentor, providing clinical advice and supervision to support service excellence.
- You have strong clinical reasoning and can work independently and in teams, holding a driver's licence and being willing to travel across the district.
