Paediatric Dietitian Career Opportunity

The role of a Paediatric Dietitian is to provide comprehensive nutritional services to patients at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for paediatric inpatients and outpatients with complex medical conditions.
  • To collaborate with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based clinical care and education on optimal nutrition practices.
  • To conduct nutritional assessments and provide advice on healthy eating habits and meal planning.
  • To lead quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Key Requirements:
  • A postgraduate degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an Australian university.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Dietitian.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in paediatric nutrition and dietetics.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills.
