Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead our ANZ operations. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing local business strategies, and overseeing the management of our commercial, customer experience, medical, HR, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership and responsibility of P&L and sales revenue of the ANZ business
  • Leading your Commercial, Customer Experience, Medical, HR, and Finance team
  • Develop and execute local business strategy in line with regional and global strategy
  • Oversee and manage budget and financial forecast aligned with the P&L
  • Drive integration of the local company culture in line with the global company's values and behaviours
  • Develop a deep understanding of the external business environment, competitors, and emerging trends to influence and drive sales in a highly competitive environment
  • Monitor and ensure timely distribution of agreed financial reports
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with major customers, relevant government departments, agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers, and other key external stakeholders
  • Work closely with HR to build framework to support people management, assign accountabilities, resource planning, performance management, and recruitment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager
  • Extensive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • P&L ownership experience
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and hands-on style to leadership
  • Experience across a breadth of therapy markets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an excellent business judgement
  • Ability to work in a lean, highly dynamic, and fast-growing organisation with demonstrated capability to be at ease in a matrix structure with ability to influence
  • Most of all, you will have an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to thrive in an environment of growth; work effectively within cross-functional teams; will be highly innovative and creative, and have a passion for highly innovative therapies that can dramatically improve patients' lives.
