Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Case Manager, working with families at risk of entering or re-entering the child protection system. You will be responsible for providing intensive support, assessment, and case planning to help families overcome risks and increase their resilience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with child protection and community services to ensure family safety and well-being.
- Assess family needs using evidence-based tools and develop tailored in-home support plans.
- Engage with clients of all ages, developing and implementing client plans that focus on strengths and risk reduction.
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure comprehensive support and access to necessary resources.
- Contribute to a dynamic team of specialists delivering a comprehensive support service prioritising child safety.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a salary of $45.00 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging options, flexible work arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Human Services.
- Two years' relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
- An excellent understanding of child protection issues, including trauma, domestic violence, and mental health concerns.
- Experience managing complex cases and working with children, young people, and their families who are at risk of entering or have had involvement with the child protection system.
- The ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- A current driver's license.
