About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Family Therapist and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic case coordination services to families, caregivers, and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will conduct thorough psycho-social assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored interventions.
  • You will implement evidence-informed interventions directly with children, catering to their unique requirements.
  • You will support reunification plans based on best practice models.
  • You will provide psychoeducation and practical assistance to children, carers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • You must hold a tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (social work, human services, allied health, psychology).
  • You should have at least three years of experience working with children, young people, and their families who have been impacted by trauma or abuse.
  • You should possess specialist skills in one of the following areas: trauma, attachment, social-emotional development, drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development, and disabilities.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and utilise a strengths-based approach.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time position offers a salary range of $97,378 - $101,788 + Super, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including salary packaging options up to $15,900 per year tax-free.
