Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.

  • Manage multiple sales pipelines and ensure timely and accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase Kainos' software solutions and value proposition.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to respond to tender requests, gather estimates, and coordinate response streams.
  • Negotiate prices and credit terms, navigate procurement processes, and complete contracts.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and report sales performance and pipeline to the UK&I Business Development Director.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial sales experience in a software-related business solutions environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering against targets and hitting sales quotas.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to present to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales and project dynamics.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and leading/participating in requirements workshops.
  • Able to travel to customer sites in the region (minimal out of region travel may be required).
Desirable
  • Knowledge of IT business development processes and contracts, with demonstrable experience of winning contracts of value over £500k.
