About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Assessing Manager to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, upgrading, and proposing improvements to motor assessing documentation guidelines and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct and monitor file reviews as part of the national quality review program aimed at delivering competitive repair cost outcomes and compliance with processes and procedures.
  2. Support management in the implementation of strategic initiatives to the assessing function.
  3. Provide expert advice on the interpretation and application of technical information to the assessing team.
  4. Contribute to improving customer service performance of repairers, motor assessors, key service providers, and business partners.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  1. A trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spray painter, or motor mechanic.
  2. 5+ years' experience as a motor insurance assessor.
  3. Expert knowledge of the smash repair industry, including repair techniques, materials, finishes, equipment, and repairer standards.
  4. A strong understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
  5. Proven ability to effectively plan, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands while navigating complexity and ambiguity.
  6. Demonstrated leadership skills in coaching and empowering individuals and teams, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
