\At South Grafton Community Aged Care, we're looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of Personal Care Assistants. As a PCA, you'll play a vital role in providing daily personal care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and dignity.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and experience\

- Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and patience when interacting with residents and their families\
- Handle confidential information with discretion and respect\
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve resident-centered outcomes\
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures\
- Support residents in achieving their goals and aspirations\
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans\
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition or behavior\
- Document resident interactions, including care delivered and concerns raised\
- Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed about resident needs and organizational updates\
- Engage in performance feedback and coaching to improve skills and knowledge\
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues\

- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset\
- Valid National Police Check (issued within 12 months) mandatory\
- Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred\
- Previous experience working in aged care or a related field advantageous\
- Blood-borne virus vaccination (BBV) required\
- TB clearance required\
- Flu vaccination required\
- Immunisation against COVID-19 (where available)\
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and required for use\
- Satisfactory references from previous employers\
- Assessment and evaluation of current qualifications and experience\
- Flexible, reliable, and punctual attendance is essential\
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights\
