Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will play an important part in helping customers service their own businesses, keeping people connected and building community resilience.

About the Opportunity:

  • You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales transactions with customers.
  • You will manage high-value transactions accurately, handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS.
  • You will conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
  • You will promote products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities.
  • You will assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs.
  • You will build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.
  • You will assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

About You:

  • You are friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, and you love working in a team environment.
  • You are ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.
  • You have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
  • You are fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
