Due to continuous growth, a FMCG company based in Sydney's Greater West is seeking an efficient Logistics Coordinator to assist with national planning and scheduling of trucks from distribution centers to stores.

This is a challenging role that involves high responsibility and autonomy in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate would ideally have prior experience in domestic and interstate logistics coordination.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Effective planning and execution through routing software 'Route Planner' & SAP.
  • Maintaining efficient internal and external correspondence and information flow.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving changes or problems to ensure smooth transportation plan execution.
  • Using initiative to control, manage, and continually improve the quality and efficiency of work.
  • Presenting recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring efficient processing of information and data support across all job functions.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience within logistics operations.
  • An understanding of different vehicle types (B-doubles or rigid vehicles).
  • Experience with the 'Route Planner' software is highly regarded.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A high level of professionalism and dedication.
  • Accountability and ownership in areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • An ability to work autonomously while contributing in a team environment.
