About the Position

The Branch Coordinator is a critical role responsible for delivering high-quality administration of branch operations.

This involves coordinating various tasks such as inventory management, medication management, and infection control measures to ensure accurate storage and timely ordering.

Additionally, this position requires strong organizational skills, effective prioritization, and collaboration with colleagues at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inventory management including linen, PPE, and consumables to ensure accurate storage and timely ordering.
  • Support medication management by ensuring correct storage, usage, and disposal of medications and oxygen cylinders in collaboration with the Medication Champion.
  • Monitor vehicle and equipment compliance including daily checks, defect reporting, repairs, fuel card placement, and tagging of faulty equipment.
  • Oversee infection control measures such as cleaning programs, mop and linen storage, and safe handling of chemicals and clinical waste.
  • Conduct audits, maintain documentation and signage, manage downtime duties, and ensure compliance with privacy and paperwork protocols.
  • Act as a delegate for the Regional Manager, lead staff meetings, assist with training, and provide regular updates and reports on branch performance.

  • Satisfy stringent safety screening requirements including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
