Operations Management Specialist

Ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities is a critical aspect of our business.
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee all warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products.
- Ensure accurate and timely receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods while maintaining quality control and adherence to procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records through regular stocktakes and effective stock control to meet operational demands.
- Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff in creating a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
- Coordinate freight logistics and shipping documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Guarantee the safe use and regular maintenance of equipment with full compliance to Australian safety standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in warehouse and inventory management, logistics, and aligning operations with production needs.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in team recruitment, training, and performance management, are essential.
Highly proficient in ERP and warehouse management systems to support efficient workflows is a must.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads in fast-paced environments, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving mindset are also required.
A working knowledge of warehouse safety, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement practices would be advantageous.
