As a key figure in the claims process, you will play a vital role in ensuring policyholders receive timely and effective support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional relationships with insurers through regular communication
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims legitimacy, interview claimants, and take statements from witnesses
- Review information including estimates, photos, and/or videos of property damage, proof of ownership, hospital records, and other relevant details required to substantiate claims
- Negotiate fair settlements with insurers, claimants, or their representatives either directly or through legal counsel
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in business or related fields, along with equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years in a claims or insurance environment
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience handling home insurance claims, with a working knowledge of home policies, processes, and property-related investigations
Bonus Qualifications:
- Proficiency in a second language
