Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Heavy Mining Equipment fleet.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and defects in the work area.
  • You will also be responsible for fault diagnosis and breakdowns across the Heavy Mining Equipment fleet, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • In addition, you will need to complete planned maintenance and servicing tasks within tight timeframes, while maintaining accurate records of job completion.
  • An essential aspect of this role is repairing both Light Vehicle and Heavy Mining Equipment fleets, as well as maintaining tools and equipment to ensure effective operation.
  • Cost management is critical to minimize rework and unnecessary use of parts and services.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with at least 2 years of experience in the Mining Industry or similar. You will possess a trade qualification, such as AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Technology or equivalent.

  • A current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Driver's Licence is mandatory.
  • An Air Conditioning Licence is also required.
  • Experience working with Caterpillar trucks and Hitachi diggers is highly desirable.
  • We expect a strong commitment to safety and a team player attitude from our successful candidate.
  • A good understanding of various machines, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Atlas models, is essential.
