We are now seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Underground Maintenance team in our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Maintenance Supervisor: you will have the opportunity to provide front line support and ensure all electrical works are carried out in a safe, timely, cost effective and environmentally responsible manner.

This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, where we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

Installing and maintaining underground reticulation systems, ensuring reliable power distribution.

Conducting breakdown and maintenance tasks on underground drilling equipment to minimize downtime.

Studying plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and or installations After-hours availability on a rotating "Call Out" roster, responding to equipment breakdowns if required Assist with equipment maintenance shutdown or power isolation co-ordination and execution About You People are at the heart of everything we do.

To be considered, we would like to see you have: Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (Essential)Electrical Instrumentation Certificate, PLCs and Automation experience (Desirable)Data cabler's license advantageous Mining or heavy industry electrical maintenance experience (Essential)Underground Mining electrical maintenance experience is preferred Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations, AS/NZS 3000 and other relevant Australian Standards.
