Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our team in the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine.

This role offers the opportunity to provide front-line support and ensure all electrical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and responsibly.

The successful candidate will be based at the mine on a 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights available from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance and repair activities on infrastructure such as motors, VSDs, transformers, substations, starter panels, distribution boards, RMUs, ventilation fans, dewatering systems, instrumentation, communications, lighting, and other electrical systems.
  • Carry out scheduled statutory work safely and efficiently.
  • Install and maintain underground reticulation systems for reliable power distribution.
  • Perform breakdown and maintenance tasks on underground drilling equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs or installations.
  • Participate in an after-hours call-out roster, responding to equipment breakdowns if required.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance shutdown or power isolation coordination and execution.
