About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Business Banking team as a Small Business Lending Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for growing and retaining a book of small business customers through effective leads and customer management.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial lending origination, with a strong understanding of financial statement analysis and lending policy. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and retain a book of small business customers through effective leads and customer management
- Deliver quality needs-based conversations that translate to positive member outcomes
- Create a seamless customer experience, supported by colleagues, through every interaction
- Apply lending policy with prudent risk management
- Source and size up lending opportunities and write credit submissions
Desirable Qualifications:
- RG 146 accreditation
- Cert IV in Banking
- Degree qualification in a business discipline
