About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our team at Uni Lodge Darwin. As Operations Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring exceptional experiences for our student residents and visitors.


Main Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will have experience in operational management, with a proven track record in leading and managing teams. Key responsibilities include:



  • Ensuring student wellbeing is prioritized at all times
  • Familiarizing yourself with our Operating Agreements and managing the property as per the management agreement and associated KPIs
  • Maintaining constructive and productive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Managing and optimizing financial performance
  • Maintaining property cleanliness and presentation
  • Providing overall leadership, guidance, and direction to develop a high-performing team

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Experience in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector or hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • A National Police Check and Working with Children clearance
  • Full work rights in Australia
