About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team at Koala, a leading provider of furniture solutions. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our demand planning strategy and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and marketing goals, including marketing and growth teams
  • Manage demand-related exceptions and ensure timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to ensure demand planning platform reflects new product introductions and terminations
  • Lead promotional planning cycles and ensure operational demand plan is finalized for replenishment within lead times
  • Maintain master data related to forecasting within the planning platform
  • Provide visibility on excess inventory and slow-moving lines to drive action
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency gains within planning and supply chain
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, with a focus on forecasting and planning
  • Experience with demand planning tools, such as Logility, RELEX, or Anaplan
  • Advanced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Previous experience in S&OP and/or IBP structures and processes
  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer supply chain is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and engage in high-level discussions and forums
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to perform in a time-sensitive environment
