Job DescriptionAs a Claims Consultant at Kennedy Reid, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims. Your duties will include:
- Providing support to your allocated assessor
- Assisting with reports
- Reviewing claims to ensure invoicing requirements are met, updating accounts as necessary, and answering inquiries
- Reviewing and managing a portfolio of claims
- Making outbound and inbound phone calls
- Responding to claim enquires and resolving queries
- Managing a database
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience in a call centre or customer service environment. Insurance or claims experience is highly regarded, and you will need to possess great customer service skills, top communication skills - both verbal and written, and skills in problem solving, time management, and interpersonal relationships.
