About the Role:

The Customer Service and Facilities Officer plays a vital role in supporting our team. This position involves effectively managing facilities, ICT equipment, and assets across multiple sites.

Key administrative tasks include venue/room hire, maintenance requests, phone management, site access passes, equipment allocation, tracking, archives, and reception duties. Additionally, this role requires assistance with work health and safety duties, including emergency response responsibilities and other administrative tasks.

This full-time ongoing position is based at Belconnen Community Centre in Canberra, ACT.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Facilities Coordinator to manage facilities, assets, and ICT equipment
  • Maintenance requests and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Contractor induction and oversight
  • Security arrangements and employee access allocation
  • Internal room bookings and external venue hire
  • Ensure timely provision of facilities and maintenance services
  • Maintain accurate documentation for room bookings and venue hire
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and delivery people to support efficient service delivery
  • Meet all legislated Work Health and Safety requirements and obligations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or II in Office Administration or equivalent qualification
  • Current driver's license and use of a roadworthy vehicle for work purposes
  • Satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • National Criminal History Clearance
