About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead and manage a Mechanical trades team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice in Manufacturing facilities on-site
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities are performed safely and efficiently
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions
  • Lead and supervise Mechanical Technicians; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Experience in a GMP environment would be an advantage, but is not essential
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
