The Royal Women's Hospital is a leading healthcare institution dedicated to advancing the health and wellbeing of women and newborns. We are seeking an exceptional Philanthropy Development and Partnerships Executive to join our team.
This role will play a pivotal part in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing significant funding for various causes, as well as experience working closely with internal teams to align philanthropic efforts with organisational goals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups. Strong organisational and project management skills are also essential, as this role will involve managing complex projects and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of individual donors, community groups, charitable trusts, and corporate partners with major gift potential
- Plan and implement relationship plans to achieve revenue targets
- Grow donor activities as part of the scholarship program
- Identify and package funding needs across the hospital
- Strategically use the CRM for major gifts and corporate partnership purposes
A tertiary level qualification in business, marketing, or a related area is required. Minimum three years of relevant fundraising experience, with a track record in securing $5,000+ individual major gifts and corporate sponsorships, is also necessary.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to a broad range of audiences, are essential. Experience working closely with key internal stakeholders to instil a culture of philanthropy within an organisation is highly desirable.
