Philanthropy Partnership Specialist

This key role is crucial to our organization, responsible for fostering and stewarding relationships with philanthropic institutions to support our mission.
Core Responsibilities- Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with the philanthropic sector, identifying new opportunities and ensuring responsiveness to institutional funder needs.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to understand funder requirements and provide strategic guidance on fundraising initiatives.
- Establish a network of aligned institutions with a propensity to invest in our cause.
- Identify, cultivate, manage, progress, and track a pipeline of prospects for major gifts and partnerships.
- Develop and implement a robust and sustainable stewardship framework for all secured funders, proactively communicating program successes and engaging them with program events.
Engage across functions, including CEO Office, Executive Leadership Team, Government Relations & Media, Marketing & Communications, Community and Programs teams. Develop effective networks with senior leaders, program teams, and alumni to build new relationships and share knowledge.
Support stewardship of Philanthropy & Partnerships team, liaise with the Philanthropy Stewardship Coordinator, and work with Development Communications Lead to generate pitches and identify collaborative funding opportunities.
