Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to lead our Asset Integrity program at our Aluminium Smelter in Portland, Victoria, Australia.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and documenting strategies to support business processes.
  • Ensuring our assets are fit for purpose and aligned with our strategic plan.
  • Identifying long-term improvement opportunities focusing on equipment reliability and capital advice.
  • Conducting asset management and equipment maintenance reviews to ensure compliance against operational and maintenance standards.
  • Developing risk management strategies to reduce total cost of ownership through optimisation of equipment selection and improved utilisation.
  • Assisting with budget requirements to meet our site plan.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technology and best practices.

About the Role

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering is highly regarded.
  • A demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on coaching and support to facilitate execution of systems and engineering processes.
  • Motivation and desire to learn new skills and pro-actively solve problems.
  • Initiative to continuously improve business performance.
